Within two weeks, Facebook users can play songs through the social networking site. According to the Forbes website, Facebook and Spotify signed an agreement on a service called Facebook Music. In link-ups that users can view streaming music portals running in the background of Facebook. They also have access to Spotify music library, while listening with friends on Facebook.

An icon appears on the left side of the Facebook News Feed in every country that has a service Spotify. The partnership between Spotify and Facebook does not involve transfer of money between companies. Possible Spotify on Facebook acts as a premium subscription service.
